What is “talent management”? 

Talent management refers to a system or process of organizations in getting the right people on board, developing, and retaining them to become key contributors to the company’s success. When we talk about talent management, it is a continuous process of making sure that the best people are doing the job that maximizes their strengths to achieve company targets and goals. 

Although a company’s internal human resource team champions talent management, the responsibility of talent management also falls on the company’s leaders, middle managers, supervisors. Rather than the sole function of HR, talent management needs a company-wide effort to be optimized.
