Assistant General Manager
The person in this position assists the general manager in executing all restaurant operations. This person sets direction and delegates responsibilities to scheduled crew members while maintaining positive morale within the team.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting with integrity and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
- Providing excellent customer service and coaching others to do the same
- Communicating all information to the general manager
- Assisting in training and ensuring that everyone is treated with respect
- Identifying opportunities of fellow crew members and ensuring positive morale
- Develop positive relationships with all Surf Taco employees
- Follow all cash handling procedures
- Maintain excellent time and attendance and follow up with others to do the same
- Provide a clean and safe environment
- Ability to execute all opening and closing procedures
Experience Needed:
- 2 years in a retail or restaurant environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead others
- Ability to quickly build strong relationships
