Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Responsible for accurate creation and presentation of all food items served to guests.
- Ensure quality and accuracy in preparation of all menu items.
- Execute all paperwork associated with Chef position.
- Learn and be able to execute all kitchen positions effectively with the ability to teach and assist staff members.
- Manage back of house labor, meeting Twelve’s goals and guest requirements.
- Responsible for ordering, stocking and managing inventory levels and quality.
- Must maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity in menu planning.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
