Human Resources Assistant


Location: Chick-fil-A Glenwood Place, Atlanta, GA

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

As an HR Assistant, you will perform essential administrative tasks and services to ensure the effective and efficient operations of our human resources department while upholding our company’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Duties:

  • Select, interview, and onboard new hires.
  • Conduct or assist with new hire orientation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees about policies, benefits, and hiring processes, escalating more complex questions to senior HR staff or management.
  • Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance.
  • Provide clerical support to the HR Director.
  • Oversee job fairs and hiring events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 2nd Mile Service to guests.
  • Ensure stations are cleaned according to food safety and BOH standards.
  • Learn and support all restaurant positions to assist when needed.
  • Execute operational responsibilities according to company standards.
  • Provide additional operational support as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous related office experience required.
  • Proficient in Google Suites and quick to learn HR information systems (HRIS) or similar computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
