This job contributes to Big Chicken's success by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. We are looking for an amazing Shift Lead to help operate our Big Chicken. You will be responsible for overseeing all shift operations and leading the team alongside the rest of the management team. This position plays a major role in a guest’s dining/bar experience.

- Must TABC Certification within first 30 days

- Maintain safe working conditions.
- Work with others to keep all areas always cleaned and stocked to Big Chicken’s standards.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products, and equipment.
- Ability to sell alcohol and food items.
- Able to use a computer to ring orders on a check.
- Able to accept different types of payment and make change.
- Ability to clear and reset tables.
- Be attentive! Offer assistance before the guest has to ask for it.
- Count drinks guests are served.
- Verify guest’s ID’s in accordance with Company standards.
- Serve alcohol responsibly. Should a guest reach the state where the bartender does not feel the guest should drive, be willing to intervene.
- Report to all scheduled shifts no later than the scheduled start time.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly requires long hours, night shifts, and weekend/holiday work.
Preferred Education and Experience
- 6+ months prior experience working as a shift lead.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications.
- Must maintain or be able to maintain an applicable Managers Food Safety Certification, TABC Certification card
