A Director is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Directors are responsible for executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Director’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Directors lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.
Director Responsibilities:
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Partner with the Training Director to work on new product roll out
- Increase overall restaurant results, working cross-functionally with other department leaders through attending weekly meetings and setting high-level collaborative goals.
- Managing daily operations of the front counter, drive-thru, and dining areas.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Controlling costs related to labor, and other operational expenses.
- Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
- Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Must be available Monday to Saturday, including holidays
