Location: Glen Allen, VA
Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook steaks, chops, and other grilled items to perfection using our broiler.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized broiler station at all times.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen while meeting customer preferences for doneness and presentation.
- Assist with daily prep and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy shifts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Broiler Cook or in a similar role in an upscale or high-volume restaurant.
- Mastery of cooking techniques for steaks and other proteins, including knowledge of temperature control and proper doneness.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings & weekends.
