A BOH Team Leader is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. Our BOH Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and holding Team Members accountable for each component of the Operational Excellence Standards and our expectations for Exceptional Food Safety. A BOH Team Leader’s three main areas of focus are food safety, completing tasks so that the restaurant runs smoothly, effectively and with food safety excellence at all times and coaching/developing Team Members. BOH Team Leaders lead by example at all times and set the tone for the Team to follow.

BOH Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift and act as a role model for the Team
- Be a friendly and encouraging team player
- Open and/or close and lead shifts
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ensures that our guests receive delicious food, served in a reasonable amount of time
- Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards for excellence and food safety
- Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
- Stock kitchen inventory as needed
- Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
- Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
- Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
- Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
- Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
- Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
- Other duties as assigned

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
- Understands the importance of details as it relates to serving our team and serving our guests and food safety.
