As a Dining Room Host at Chick-fil-A West Pond, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary focus will be to ensure that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
In addition to working directly for an independent Owner/Operator, Dining Room Host/Hostesses are the face of Chick-fil-A. The experience that is created in our dining rooms is one of the key goals of this position. We want to make our guests feel welcome by delivering the core four essentials - eye contact, smiling, speaking with enthusiasm, and serving from the heart. Most importantly we want to create "REMARK"able experiences and this goes far beyond just serving a great product in a friendly environment. Chick-fil-A is a great opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds, and no experience is necessary.
This role is part-time and will be between the hours of 10am - 10pm Monday - Saturday. Shifts will be between 3-8 hours depending on need and availability for the candidate.
Duties include:
- Warm Welcome: Greet every guest with a genuine smile and enthusiastic demeanor, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly manner, addressing their needs and preferences to enhance their overall experience.
- Anticipate Needs: Proactively identify and address any special requests or concerns guests may have, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain Ambiance: Ensure that the dining area and bathrooms are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Provide Information: Offer insightful recommendations on menu items and special promotions, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Other important tasks such as: Checking in on guests a few minutes after being seated with their food, refreshing beverages, or sampling products including desserts and seasonal items
Qualifications include:
Passion for Service: A genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional guest service and a dedication to creating memorable dining experiences.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with guests in a warm and professional manner.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Positive Attitude: A friendly and approachable demeanor, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Previous Experience: Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
