POSITION OVERVIEW
A Server in a facility is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the establishment by providing excellent customer service, taking and delivering orders accurately and promptly, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Set up Buffet items listed on the BEO and serve them at scheduled meal periods.
- Follow Zenput opening & closing checklists to stay on task.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness & presentation of the cafeteria. This includes the: in front of and behind the buffet service line, beverage station, all dining room tables & chairs, all napkin holders, condiments, and plants on the tables, snack & beverage fridges, snack table in the back.
- Restock any needed beverages and snacks in both the cafeteria & dorm fridges.
- Keep an eye out for proper labeling on all snacks & for any expired product that may need to be thrown away.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an active food handlers card.
- Must have food safety skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Flexibility to working hours, as event schedules require.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred and considered a plus.
- Must be friendly, reliable, and punctual.
