POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations across our catering services and restaurant locations. This role ensures that each venue runs efficiently and delivers exceptional service. The Operations Manager is tasked with managing staff performance, streamlining processes, and upholding quality standards to enhance customer experiences. They are also responsible for budget management, inventory control, scheduling, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. By optimizing operations and implementing best practices, the Operations Manager plays a key role in driving business growth and profitability.
WORK HOURS
This role is required to work a minimum of 40-50 hours per week. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business. Occasional scheduling will include nights and weekends depending on events and functions. Some travel will be required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES include but are not limited to
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage all Operations Stewards.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage all on-call Catering Captains, Servers, and Bartenders.
- Check out & check in equipment from all events.
- Oversee kitchen LKB for events and verify all items on BEO are in the van.
- Assist the Sales Team with logistics for event days.
- Attend site visits with the sales team as needed.
- Attend all BEO meetings and Manager Meetings.
- Maintain order, organization, and inventory of the operations warehouse
- Management of catering FOH products (beverage and dry goods).
- Development and management of paper product ordering and guidelines for all Herb Box Catering.
- Continued development of catering + restaurant operation efficiencies
- Assist the Director of Operations of The Herb Box.
- Assist in technology development.
- Assist in managing and repairing Herb Box facilities: restaurants and kitchen equipment
- Other Duties as added and requested.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable means of transportation and an acceptable MVR report.
- Possess a valid Maricopa County Health Department Food Handlers Card
- Must be ServSafe Certified
