POSITION OVERVIEW
We are a local catering company that is in need of off-site event staff! We are looking to hire servers, bartenders and catering captains. This is an hourly position with an opportunity for gratuity. Previous off-site catering experience is required. Please note that this position is on an as-needed basis and by no means is consistent but entirely dependent on the catering company event schedule. Please be punctual, friendly and comfortable being client facing.
WORK HOURS
This role is required to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week, or sometimes on a seasonal basis. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs. Scheduling can include nights and weekends depending on events and functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Arranging the venue, setting up equipment, and dismantling after the event.
- Providing information and guiding attendees at the event.
- Overseeing parking, transportation, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
- Assisting vendors with setup, addressing their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Being prepared to respond to unexpected situations and providing assistance as needed.
