MSE Branded Foods is looking to add new talent to our fantastic team at our independently owned concepts, including Sbarro’s Pizza, Buckhead Grill, Blueridge Deli, and Caribou Coffee located in the North Georgia Premium Outlet. Part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions are available.
JOB SUMMARY:
Line Cooks and Back-of-House Team Members are responsible for preparing food for utilization and preparing all food orders in a timely manner according to the company recipes, serving portions, and guest special requests. Additional duties include opening and closing the station, assisting other kitchen team members based on ticket flow, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Our Line Cook Stars take pride in cooking high-quality menu items in a fun and fast-paced kitchen environment. You will be able to create a variety of delicious dishes from our easy-to-learn and master menus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-:
• Maintain a gracious, pleasant, and friendly attitude while contributing to a team-work-based environment
• Be customer service-oriented and detail-oriented
• Demonstrate ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions
• Adhere to the company dress and appearance policy
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
• Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of all served food items
• Prepare menu items following recipe guidelines
• Present an accurate guest check, accept payment, and quickly complete the transaction
• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area at the beginning, during, and at the end of each shift
• Utilize the Kitchen Display System (KDS) or kitchen tickets effectively to maintain service flow, control cost/waste, and build sales.
• Accurately input orders into the POS, responsible for receiving accurate payments and balancing cash.
• Follow standard hygiene and clothing protocol to maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Position requires slip-resistant shoes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred. Experience in Food Preparation/Service preferred –but not required for consideration. Will be required to submit to E-Verify screening.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires regular attendance as scheduled in accordance with company labor needs; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to listen, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 40 lbs.; requires the ability to tolerate significant temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
