Laundry Attendant:
- Maintaining and updates the laundry assignment daily sheet.
- Complies with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Light and deep cleaning of laundry facility- sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, polish washers.
- Picks up and sorts dirty linen from linen closets.
- Records sends out, receives and organizes all guest, employee, and household dry cleaning.
- Replaces records and disposes of empty chemical drums.
- Folds and organizes bed linens and guest room items.
- Spot treats and process stained linens.
- Maintains timing and volume input/output of washers and dryers.
- Maintains the laundry facility organized, safe and clean.
- Assist team members when needed.
- Reports and records any lost and found items.
- Responds to room attendant and supervisor(s) calls in a timely manner.
- Follows all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job.
- Reports and records any damages, discrepancies and or malfunctioned equipment to supervisor(s).
- Assists in daily linen counts for monthly inventories.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Workload varies based on business level.
- Be able to multi-task, organize and prioritize tasks on an hourly and daily basis.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to work well under time constraints- remain calm under pressure.
- Follow directions effectively.

- Maintains confidentiality of guests and hotel information.
