Job Responsibilities
- Provide Sales and Marketing to three properties of Scarlet & Gray Hospitality, LLC
- Hampton Inn Springfield
- Holiday Inn Express & Suites Centerville
- Home2 Suites Centerville
- Work 45+ hours per week. All hours are to be clocked in and out via timekeeping tool (Hotel Effectiveness).
- Monday-Friday Management position but on call 24/7, should the need arise.
- Travel is required between these properties on a regular basis.
- 100% responsible for increasing top-line revenue at each property.
- Actively participate in the planning of annual budget for each hotel.
- Attend Sales & Revenue Calls every week for each property.
- Work directly with General Managers at each property.
- Train Sales Assistants at each property.
- Put together an individual sales program and lead an effort to drive business at each of our hotels.
- Generate new and repeat business through sales and marketing activities and meet with potential and current clients to promote the property.
- Including SWOT analysis of each property.
- Including SWOT analysis of each comp set.
- Follow up with staff to ensure they are providing superior guest service and meeting or exceeding quality standards.
- Create a Sales binder for each property composed of: STAR, ART, Production, Missed Revenue
- Each brand has specific sales report that you will dive into and deviate which are relevant to each property.
- Participate in Sales Training as needed and up to brand standards.
- Learn all brand-supported Revenue Management systems.
- Monitor cost controls to maximize profit.
- Send Recap weekly to SGHreports@sghospitality.com.
- Read Daily Sales and Revenue reports for each property.
- Send Daily snapshot of day, forecast vs on the book revenue for each property, groups booked that day, and traces for that day.
- Use, Update, and Monitor Social Media accounts for hotels.
- Advise Ownership of all issues requiring guidance and approval.
