Course Overview

Jump start your career with a Chick-fil-A Flemington’s 2-year Manager in Training Program. We will build on your education through a formal mentorship in our LEAD program providing you professional development, entrepreneurial insights, and practical working experience within a legacy brand. You will be challenged to manage people, systems and processes in a fast-paced multi-million dollar business. At the conclusion of your MIT experience, you will be equipped to pursue a career with Chick-fil-A, or leverage your experience to launch a career outside of Chick-fil-A.

Practical Leadership Progression: 

  • Year 1: Hospitality and Kitchen Operational Leadership. Establish foundation in understanding and leading the Chick-fil-A business model. 
  • Year 2: Assume rotational responsibility for segments critical to the success of the Chick-fil-A restaurant business.

Critical Success Areas Segments: 

  • Financial Stewardship: Impact the bottom line through ownership of Lean process improvements, cleanliness systems, repairs and maintenance process flow, and inventory management.
  • Sales and Brand Growth: Lead the application of the Chick-fil-A marketing strategy to drive sales and grow the brand through customer relationship management, in-restaurant and in-community activations, partner relations, and advertising. 
  • Talent: Take responsibility to own and execute results in recruitment processes, onboarding and training processes, team member experience strategy, and performance management systems.
  • Customer Experience: Identify and lead initiatives to improve our guest experience in the areas of hospitality, taste, cleanliness, and speed/accuracy.
