Clean Eatz is known for being a great option in the restaurant community, offering no late nights (closing at 8 p on weekdays and 3 p on weekends), healthy offerings (no deep fryers here!), and small manageable Menu. Our Back-of-House Team Members are guaranteed $17 per hour after tips, but it's often more, just never less. We also offer weekly pay and a company 401(k) with a company match after 1 year of service.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Prepares menu items according to company policies, procedures, & performance standards.
• Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and a quality work environment.
• Operates in a safe manner to ensure both Food Safety and that other employees remain safe.
• Interested candidates should have weekend availability until 3:30 pm, and weekday availability until 8:30 pm.
KEY PERFORMANCE ELEMENTS:
• Reports to work well groomed, and at all times practices good personal hygiene.
• Uses, maintains, and cleans all kitchen line equipment, plus preparation and storage areas.
• Stocks and rotates products on cook’s line either through preparation of food and/or of stocking from stock.
• Has sufficient knowledge of cooking stations and prep stations, the menu items and prep procedures to ensure correct portioning, quality, cooking time and performance standards.
• Cooks and prepares menu items according to guest request within company standards and following food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Anticipates, identifies and corrects system breakdowns in the kitchen to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
• Communicates with coworkers regarding product/services deficiencies, equipment, safety problems, or any other issue that may occur.
• Ensures a harassment free environment through proper personal conduct.
• Upholds food safety and security standards at all times.
• Maintains professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
• Complete other job duties
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
• Able to remain positive and calm under stressful conditions
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment safely
• Exhibits neat, clean and professional image at all times.
• Ability to read and understand recipes.
• Physical Requirements Able to lift and carry 30+ pounds several times per shift.
• Must have sufficient mobility to move and/or operate in work area.
• Bending, turning, twisting upper body, reaching for up to 10 times per day.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for long periods of time.
• This position requires work in hot environments.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Preferred minimum 6 months experience working in similar positions within restaurant industry.
• Preferred Experience includes restaurant cook or prep experience or similar.
• Ability to perform the tasks as described above.
