Outstanding customer service is a must, so the catering staff we hire must always meet all out customers' needs and expectations, as well as attend to all the potential customer complaints in a professional and friendly manner. They will also be expected to assist our Sales and Brand Growth Manager with providing food and service for our off-restaurant concessions events at Penn State Harrisburg.
This position is typically 8AM-4PM, with some flexibility and autonomy. If there is a breakfast catering order that must be delivered at 8AM, it is expected that the Assistant Manager would come in (and leave) earlier in the day to accommodate this ordering request.
Responsibilities of Catering Staff:
- Taking, confirming, and following up with catering orders
- Preparing food in a healthy and clean kitchen environment
- Consulting with guests about any potential changes to their order
- Transporting food to and from venues
- Decorating food-serving areas at the venues
- Making sure the supplies are well-organized and stocked

- If there are not many catering orders on any given day, assisting with restaurant operations
