As an Office Manager, you will play an important role in the operations of the Restaurant. You will be the glue of the team and will be responsible for managing and anticipating the administrative needs of the business. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive in their approach, outgoing and passionate about the hospitality industry.

 

Duties

  • Manage job applications to ensure we are in compliance with employment laws.
  • Have health and safety certification.
  • Own and drive personal and career development.
  • Effectively manage all office supply inventories: paper supplies, POS supplies, staples orders, gift cards.
  • Ensure that incident reports are being filled out and filed to the appropriate places.
  • Keep employee files complete, up to date, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed prior to any partner starting their first shift.
  • Ensure office equipment is in working order.
  • Effectively troubleshoot payment receiving systems.
  • Effectively troubleshoot POS Terminals.
  • Effectively troubleshoot sales & cash program.
  • Accurately reconcile daily cash and balance daily.
  • Actively manage the payroll process, i.e. paycheck distribution, TF, TQ, TF’s.
  • Accurately account for the tip distribution process.
  • Meet or exceed cash labor goal.
  • Own theft detection for the store and perform weekly theft audits.
  • Manage partner labor input.
  • Process pay adjustments in a timely manner.
  • Manage partner AR accounts.
  • Monitor and reconcile daily cash expenses and out of store purchases.
  • Manage the office budget.
  • Ensure profit update is sent out to managers daily.
  • Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

 

What’s required

  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar administration role.
  • Team leadership –you are a natural born leader in any crowd.
  • Bring out the best and connect with others; you know that teamwork means success.
  • Interest in honing your hospitality and sales building skills.
  • You continuously seek opportunities to grow and learn.
  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server/Seller permits.
  • Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 


What’s preferred 

  • Experience with daily cash balance/reconciliation and payroll in a restaurant setting.
