Counter Attendant and Cashiers are responsible for maintaining Guest Service as per company

standard, take customers’ orders, maintain awareness with menu and special items; cash register

operations (POS), effectively communicate with customers.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to

successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be

this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to

stand and walk with heavy trays/tubs (up to 50 pounds). The employee is occasionally required to sit;

use hands or finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel,

crouch, or crawl. Specific sensory abilities required by this job include sight, taste, smell, and hearing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to raw meat, moving

mechanical parts, airborne particles, hazardous materials, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in

the work environment is moderate to loud.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • One to two years prior cashier experience
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Guest Service
  • Maintaining an awareness of all product knowledge information and any menu promotions.
  • Adhering to all Company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
  • Accurately and efficiently completing all sales transactions and maintaining proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers, making bills and receiving payments
  • Communicating Guest requests to management
  • Maintaining the dessert case and utensils utilized for serving dessert
  • Performing other duties as assigned
