To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts occasionally.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Provide hospitable service to all guests following Steak n Shake’s steps of service
- Maintain guest sensitivity
- Take orders and accurately key them into the POS system
- Prepare and deliver drinks and other menu items in an expedient manner
- Process cash, credit and coupon transactions quickly
- Stock, restock, clean and sanitize the counter/cash area
- Maintain safety and security procedures as required
- Maintain uniform standards at all times
- Maintain Company policies and standards at all times
- Complete any and all other tasks as assigned
