Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our catering services and ensuring exceptional
customer satisfaction.
Job Summary: The Chick-fil-A Catering Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing all
catering operations. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing catering events while
leading a team to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients and team
members. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Catering Operations Management:
o Oversee all aspects of the catering department, including planning, budgeting, and
execution of events.
o Oversee all aspects of the Chick-fil-A mobile unit trailer operations, including
planning, budgeting, and execution of all events.
2. Team Leadership:
o Recruit, train, and manage catering staff to ensure high levels of performance and
customer service.
o Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional
development.
o Ability to serve in restaurant operations alongside the team on the floor serving
guests.
3. Client Relations:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs
and preferences.
o Act as the primary point of contact for catering inquiries and bookings, providing
excellent customer service.
4. Event Coordination:
o Plan and coordinate all details of catering events, including logistics, set-up, and
on-site management.
o Ensure timely delivery and setup of catering orders, maintaining quality
standards.
5. Marketing and Sales:
o Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote catering services and
increase sales.
o Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and community events to
generate catering opportunities.
o Execute in-store sampling (new menu items, as well as breakfast items during
lunch or dinner)
6. Financial Management:
o Monitor and manage the catering budget, ensuring profitability while maintaining
quality service.
o Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and
growth.
7. Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Chick-fil-A’s policies
and procedures.
o Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Must complete in-store training in Front of House and Back of House operations before
leading independently in the role.
Associate Degree or higher (or equivalent experience in a related field)
Must be 18 years of age or older upon hire date.
Legally eligible to perform work in the United States.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering management software.
Availability to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays and evenings.
Passion for customer service and the Chick-fil-A brand.
Ability to lift 25 pounds
