Cold Stone Creamery delivers the Ultimate Ice Cream Experience through a community of franchisees who are passionate about ice cream. The secret recipe for smooth and creamy ice cream is handcrafted fresh daily in each store and then customized by combining a variety of mix-ins on the frozen granite stone. Cold Stone Core Values
Shift Leader Duties:
- Prepare customer orders quickly and provide guests with great customer service.
- Make ice cream, and other novelties daily; ensure that adequate inventory levels are met and that the store is fully prepared for the rest of the day.
- Ensure that the company's inventory and assets are kept protected, and that shift leaders and crew members are working in the best interests of the company.
- Clean the front of house, back line and kitchen alongside crew members at the end of the shift.
- Hold crew members accountable in following company policies and procedures; provide training and coaching to crew members that may need assistance.
- Effectively manage inventory, products, and services.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary and pertinent to the position and business operations.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- 1+ years hospitality management experience preferred (experience working retail or in food service required)
- Flexible availability: must be able to work a combination of morning and evening shifts, and provide availability on weekends and most holidays.
- Demonstrate agility and fast speed of service, must be able to multi-task effectively.
- Provide courteous and prompt customer service to all individuals; we are looking for cheerful, energetic individuals that aren't afraid to take the spotlight and put on a show.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with crew members, customers, and other individuals.
Performance Standards:
- Complete all computer-based training modules during new hire training program.
- Read, understand, and sign all onboarding documents and tax forms
- Consistently achieve sales goals and other measured metrics (i.e. Mix-in %, Waffle %, Signature Creations, Love-it and Gotta-Have-It sales, etc). These goals are set by managers.
- Pass all training tests with a 90% score or better.
