Chick-fil-A . The mission of a Back of House Team Member is to maintain a very high standard in all areas of kitchen operations and food safety to ensure every guest receives a consistent food experience of excellence with regards to food quality, presentation and speed of service. As a member of the kitchen team, training may include any of the back-of-house areas including food prep, assembly and cooking including produce, raw, cold & hot breakfast/lunch/dinner products, desserts and beverages. Cleaning & maintenance, truck and inventory, storage and waste disposal areas, as well as preparing catering orders and deliveries, may also be responsibilities of a kitchen team member. All areas of the kitchen will implement checks for food safety, food quality, food cost and productivity. All Back of House Team Members are expected to work along with their team and the entire store with a collaborative spirit to strive for excellent performance in all areas.

Responsibilities::

1.  Provide Remarkable Service  

  • Follow standards for proper and effective presentation of orders to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with the front counter and drive-thru team about wait times 
  • Provide a sense of urgency 
  • Uphold organizational standards to increase proficiency 

2. Maintain and Provide an Excellent Environment   

  • Ensure a clean and inviting kitchen environment
  • Treat all team members with honor, dignity, and respect

3. Exhibit Proficient Understanding of Chick-fil-A Brand & Product Knowledge  

  • Able to correctly assemble all menu products
  • Able to properly use all equipment related to the kitchen

4. Perform at a High Standard of Proficiency in Assigned Kitchen Stations

  • Kitchen team members will be trained in a minimum of three kitchen stations
  • Exhibit knowledge of assigned training modules required to work station 
  • Stay current on training updates and new product rollouts for assigned stations


Additional Requirements::

For Full Time team members:

  • We would like you to be available to start work at either 5:30am or end work at 10:30pm at least 3 days per week and be available on Saturday
  • Compensation starts at $14 hourly
  • Full time is defined as minimally 30 hours per week
  • Health insurance is available after applicable wait period as well as matching 401K plan
  • This is a Non-Exempt position


For Part Time team members:

  • Either work opening shifts (beginning at 5:30am) or closing shifts (ending at 10:30pm) at least 2 days per week and a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month
  • You are willing to work short shifts
  • Compensation starts at $13 hourly
  • Part time is defined as a maximum of 30 hours per week
  • Health insurance is available after applicable wait period as well as matching 401K plan
  • This is a Non-Exempt position


COVID-19 Response::


Due to the ongoing pandemic, our dining room is currently closed. We are only serving guests in our drive-thru and via delivery service. Masks are required to be worn by all team members at all times (with the exception of eating during breaks). We have reinforced our cleaning procedures, and do temperature screening and a health questionnaire on all who enter our dining room, including vendors and team members. Interviews are currently conducted virtually.
