We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate
head chef to join the JuJuBe team. The right candidate will possess excellent
communication skills, superior knowledge of daily kitchen operations and strong
leadership qualities.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen standards to ensure Health Code compliance
- Monitoring of inventory and purchasing supplies from approved vendors
- Handles high volume with confidence and finesse
- Ensure food and labor cost goals are achieved.
Requirements:
- Must understand the basis of food, labor, and cost controls
- Dedicated to providing guests with amazing experiences with the highest degree of integrity
- Desire to run a teaching kitchen—constantly challenging themselves and their team to be better
- 5 years minimum in a Chef position
- Highly organized
- Strong work ethic
- Commitment to delivering high quality and creative menus
- Provide leadership that will inspire team cohesiveness and cooperation.
