The Director of Talent is responsible for ensuring proper training throughout the entire restaurant. They will lead talent acquisition, development, retention, and performance strategies. They’re responsible for creating and maintaining a positive work environment that promotes growth, and a strong alignment with our Vision and Values. They are the point of contact regarding culture and training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development
- Encourage, and coach team members daily to achieve
- Chick-fil-A’s standards for food safety, quality, and guest experience.
- Collaborate with other Directors to create development and ongoing calibration plans for team members.
- Design, implement, and improve upon training and internal leadership progression and development programs.
- Identify and develop leadership talent within the restaurant to create a strong succession pipeline.
Retention
- Develop and execute strategies to improve team member engagement, satisfaction, and retention
- Conduct regular assessments of team member satisfaction and implement initiatives to address concerns.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to ensure a healthy culture that aligns with our restaurant’s Vision and Values.
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance review process, ensuring it is fair, consistent, and aligned with restaurant’s Vision and Values.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders in setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback.
- Implement programs to recognize and reward outstanding team member performance.
Records and Compliance
- Ensure restaurant compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Manage and regularly audit required team member performance evaluations.
- Maintain, update, and annually audit team member files for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of team member disciplinary procedures.

- Full-time with overtime opportunities.
- Availability required: Monday through Friday. Some opening, closing and Saturday shifts may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of Leadership/Management experience
- 1 year of training or teaching experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the restaurant
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful talent strategies
- Able to anticipate needs, oversee multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Resourceful and self-motivated with a passion for delivering results
- Heart to serve others and act with integrity and authenticity
- Positive attitude, optimism in adversity, and passion for people
