Position:
As a Back of House Prep Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. You will be primarily responsible for preparing cold food items and assisting with various food preparation tasks, cleaning duties, and dishwashing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cold food items such as salads, wraps, sides, and chicken according to recipes and standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients.
- Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and served safely and hygienically.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Wash dishes and utensils promptly and efficiently to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work opening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
