Position Overview:

As the Marketing Director at Chick-fil-A, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. You will lead a talented marketing team, connect with leaders and organizations in Champaign-Urbana, and leverage data-driven insights to shape and implement impactful campaigns and local events. You will work directly with the owner/operator of Chick-fil-A Champaign, Dan Harrison.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Chick-fil-A's brand values and business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, print, and experiential marketing.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and competitive differentiation.
  • Brand Development: Maintain and enhance the Chick-fil-A brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships that align with Chick-fil-A's brand values and marketing objectives.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on campaign performance, customer engagement, and overall marketing effectiveness.
  • Serve the team and guests: Serve alongside a passionate and fun team for short periods of time while gaining insight into how the Chick-fil-A operation runs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful marketing initiatives in the quick-service restaurant or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategies, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software.
