Position Duties and Expectations:
- You will act as the Guardian Ambassador for our clients and will be the leader in coordinating communications and driving the operational standards assigned for each client location.
- You will interact with all levels of the organization; must maintain a working knowledge of the assigned client locations and Guardian’s security practices providing exceptional customer service, effectively manage people and procedures, as well as ensuring contract compliance and adherence to site security protocols.
- You will maintain Safety and Security programs for Clients/Employees/Staff. These programs include access control and alarm systems, employee identification, visitor access, etc.
- You will perform and oversee site training or retraining of officers measuring competency, appearance, and the impact with the organization.
- Work with Management Team to understand clients’ objectives and security needs; manage implementation of officers at client’s sites.
- Conduct monthly client meetings in person and remotely using virtual platforms to ensure service excellence and safety with the primary account contact.
- Conduct audits at each site and ensure that the Post Orders are updated, accurate and are being adhered to by employees and update as needed.
- Conduct inspections of security officers and sites for image, job knowledge, etc.
- Confirm that each officer is properly trained and meets the clients’ specific demands. Ensure that all work sites are kept clean and well-organized to attain the impeccable image we represent.
- Evaluate client locations,and make necessary changes to accommodate clients’ needs and wants.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment. Must be able to maintain a professional appearance with attire and meet grooming standards per company guidelines.
- Make immediate changes or adjustments to client schedules, post orders, work sites or security officer personnel to accommodate or meet clients’ or Guardian’s expectations.
- Understand and maintain general post instructions for assigned posts by being fluent in all facets of the operation.
- Provide proper guidance, counseling and mentorship with the Security Officers you are responsible for.
- Provide a warm and safe work environment by treating employee’s and clientele with Respect and provide a professional demeanor at all times.
- Have the Integrity and extraordinary Decisions Making Skills to make sound decisions in the absence of other supervision.
- Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk as needed.
Education/Experience: Possess at a minimum a High School diploma/GED. Have a proven stable work history to show a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the security industry with a successful track record in a leadership role. Ability to use computers and easily able to retain the use of software and programs is a necessity.
Required Certifications/Screenings: Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License, with a clean MVR (No moving violations within the past 2 years). Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC). All applicants must complete a pre-employment screening process that includes a background investigation and a drug screen.

Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional grooming standards. Must possess exceptional customer service skills and public relationship skills, in order to professionally interact with others. Must have reliable transportation.
Computer Knowledge: Must have competency with Microsoft Office Suite. You have the aptitude to learn and retain the knowledge of our software is crucial to do this job successfully. The use of tablets, smartphones and computers will be used on a regular basis. Experience with the use of WinTeam is a plus.
