As a Store Leader at Legendary Dogs, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our store locations across multiple stores. You will lead a team of store associates, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, adherence to cleanliness routines, and adherence to company standards and policies. No two days are the same, and variable shifts are part of the role.
Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies:
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor store associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient store operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to foster continuous improvement and
- professional growth.
Build a cohesive and motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) Management:
- Oversee FOH activities, including customer service, sales, and cashier operations, to ensure a positive customer
- experience.
- Manage BOH responsibilities, such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards in both FOH and BOH areas, including implementing and overseeing cleanliness routines.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving customer issues, and maintaining a welcoming store
- environment.
- Train and coach store associates on effective customer service techniques and best practices.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Efficiency and Performance:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize store performance and meet business objectives.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR, marketing, and finance, to support store operations and achieve company goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment on priorities, initiatives, and action plans.
- Provide input and feedback on marketing promotions, product offerings, and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the retail or service industry.
