Please Be Seated is Nashville's premier event rental company covering events throughout the Southern US. We supply rental equipment including tables, chairs, dish items, catering equipment, stages, various woodworking items and more. Our carpentry shop offers an extra element to every event with custom projects such as bars, backdrop walls, eight foot guitars and more. As we expand our team to fulfill the demand for our carpentry services, we are looking to add a carpenter that will assist in the following:

Responsibilities:

• Refurbishing and light repairs for inventory items such as bars, chairs, tables and related furniture items
• Painting and staining wood products
• On-site skill and career advancement
• Upkeep of wood shop and surrounding warehouse spaces
• The ability to operate fork lift is a plus
• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of using power tools and machinery

Additional Information:

This is a very active position and requires candidate to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb and lift/move items over 75 lbs repetitively and for extended periods of time. While demand changes by season, typical hours worked are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a working cell phone. Position is available as part time or full time with starting pay dependent on experience.
