THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm, plus standby and overtime as needed

Weekend Hours: As requested for on-call duties

We are looking to hire several exceptional outside sales representatives to deliver the most efficient, highest-quality customer experience possible. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Jacksonville, FL. Previous HVAC / Plumbing  experience is required, and we will provide on-the-job, paid training to allow for higher compensation, faster growth, and leadership opportunities. J&W Heating and Air + Plumbing offer sales and service seven days a week with after-hours, on-call, and emergency response options. With our company, there is room to grow for the right candidate looking to be compensated well. 

As a Residential HVAC In-Home Sales Representative, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to provide customers with solutions for their home AC/Heating needs and ensure desired sales metrics. You will visit our clients’ homes to evaluate residential heating and cooling systems and present options effectively to lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. 

• Identify, contact, provide quotes, and close orders on HVAC solutions and other home comfort needs for prospective and existing customers.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations to make additional recommendations.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of J&W Heating and Air products so that these products can be presented professionally to our customers and potential customers.
• Increase sales and average order size by showing the value of our maintenance membership and other air quality solutions. 
• Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all quotes, information, and pricing has been received.
• Follow up with open quotes and build value to increase conversions.
• Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers.
• Emphasize the importance of J&W’s industry-leading education by preparing customized sales orders and tickets for jobs sold. 
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Participate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts, including, but not limited to, trade shows, referral groups, etc.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times while providing the best service in the industry to our customers.
• Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services.
• Negotiate and establish pricing and terms according to the company's customer and transaction profitability requirements.

PREFERENCES, EXPECTATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Required: Previous HVAC or Home Services Sales experience (any in-home sales experience is appreciated)
• Preferred: 3 years of outside sales experience in a service-related field
• Required: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Computer Skills: Office, Google, and Email proficiency
• Technological Skills: iPhone, iPad, apps to input sales information
• High School Education or Equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
• Strong selling background in business development skills
• Ability to maintain a positive attendance record
• Strong verbal and written communication
• High integrity with advanced social skills and the ability to make solid connections
• Motivated, self-starter who’s flexible and has a great attitude in life
• Complete sales promptly, treating customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
