Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the director team in all aspects of shift management
  • Lead a positive working relationship and treat all team members with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
  • Hold yourself and your team members accountable to the restaurant policies and standards.
  • Ability to open and close the restaurant while managing systems.
  • Addresses guest issues that may arise using the HEARD model, and consults with your director regarding complex issues.
  • Support and influence the restaurant’s overall operational and financial goals.
  • Lead, train, and support the focus areas of the “WHED" Strategy: Operational Excellence, 2nd Mile Service, and Attentive & Friendly Team Members
  • Solve problems that could impact the shift
  • Run all breaks for the team
  • Track labor, cash management, food safety, food quality, and safety & security.
  • Assist with daily catering
  • Count tills, complete InFORM & daily deposits


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Flexible availability
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Minimum of 25 hours a week
  • Able to open &/or close the restaurant
  • Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
