We are looking for a part time Maintenance Technician and Catering Delivery Driver! A great option for someone retired from maintenance work and looking for something to do outside the home!
As a Maintenance Technician/ Catering Driver for Chick-fil-A of Anderson, you will split your responsibilities and time between two roles, maintenance and catering assistance. You will play a crucial role in our business behind the scenes as well as being one of the “faces” of our brand. It’s truly the best of both worlds.
As a maintenance technician, your work will help ensure the safety of our guests and team by keeping up with preventative maintenance, repairs, and using strong organizational skills to ensure no responsibilities are neglected. We will need someone that has great time management skills to be able to keep up with the needs of both stores.
In the role of a catering driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering catering orders in a safe and timely manner while maintaining a clean delivery space in the vehicle provided. Regardless of any position held with Chick-fil-A of Anderson, all team members are required to lead with a servant’s heart to aid our community. Key Responsibilities
- Perform and complete scheduled maintenance tasks as directed
- Weekly checks of the facilities to identify potential problems, accompanied by a plan of action
- Maintain an up-to-date list of inventory and supplies kept in storage
- Willing to help in various areas of restaurant/ office operations
- Deliver and set up catering orders for various guests throughout the week
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repair, electrical, and plumbing
- Able to lift 50 pounds minimum and able to climb/balance on a ladder
- Able to work independently and is self-motivated
- Basic computer knowledge/skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Stewards time well
- Trustworthy
- Clean shaven (mustaches are allowed)
- No visible body piercings or tattoos
- Positive attitude and team spirit
- Willingness to learn
