YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKI’S SHIFT LEADER:
- Serving guests, making meaningful connections with them
- Opening & closing tasks
- Being responsible for the restaurant and the team working when a manager isn’t on duty
- Setting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their duties
- Mastering menu and product knowledge
- Supporting or working stations when needed (kitchen included)
- Prepping food and doing side work
- Following proper cash handling and payment procedures
- Maintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shift
- Following proper Alcohol Handling policies and procedures
- Proper food handling and storage of food products
- Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform and appearance
THE IDEAL TEAM MEMBER:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests / team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to the policies and procedures
- Energetic, ready to learn, loves fresh food
- Work flexible schedule
- Dependable, reliable and trustworthy
- Open to being coached
- Must be comfortable running shifts solo as manager on duty with the ability to open and/or close the store without supervision
- Must be good with money
ALL EMPLOYEES MUST:
- Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
- Obtain a Food Manager’s certification shortly after beginning employment
- Become well versed in all aspects of the restaurant
- Be comfortable and possess strong customer engagements and interactions
- Be comfortable with and mastering the point of sale (POS) system for guests' orders
YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:
A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:
- Morning shift - 7am - 4pm
- Evenings - 2pm - 10pm
- Weekend availability
- Holiday availability - when applicable (CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas)

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and chargrill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
