This position is part-time minimum of 3 shifts of 4pm-8pm minimum.
Role and Responsibilities:
The host/hostess is responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience from the point of first engagement until the guest leaves our restaurant. This position requires that the host/hostess be aware of guest needs, observe when guest expectations may have not been met, and do what is necessary to provide a “REMARKABLE” experience for our guests. This position requires someone to love people and love cleaning. We are looking for a
- 18 years or older (not in high school)
- Minimum of 3 shifts of 4pm - 8pm weekly.
- Set schedule, very limited flexibility with scheduling
- Daily Requirements
- Be capable of working on your feet for 4 hours
- Able to lift and manipulate at least 30 pounds overhead
- Have reliable transportation
- Possess strong verbal interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Maintain professionalism by showing up on time, in uniform, and be respectful to team and management
Daily requirements for Dining Room Host/Hostess
Hospitality:
- Ensure guests are greeted with a smile upon entering the dining room.
- Ensure use of CORE4 and 2nd Mile Service in all guest interactions.
- Anticipate guests needs such as assisting with children and assisting guests with all condiments and other items needed for their meal.
- The host/hostess should perform a table touch with each guest approximately 10 minutes after their food is delivered to ensure they have everything needed and provide an offer to refresh beverages.
- The host/hostess should check with each table as they finish their meal and offer to refresh beverages and remove any waste from the table.
- Always representing the values of Chick-fil-A and the operator, and thank guests for choosing to dine with us before they depart.
Cleaning Duties:
- Clean the tables and floors when guests leave the restaurant.
- Maintain condiment station to ensure all condiments are fully stocked and made accessible to guests.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness by stocking all toiletries, picking up any trash, and wiping counters.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room trays
- Wiping down windows during down time to provide an atmosphere of cleanliness
- Always finding something to do to provide an exceptional dining experience for all guests!
