Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading opening and/or closing shifts, following procedures to correctly open and/or close the restaurant
- Oversee team members on shift to ensure the restaurant is meeting its goals and meals are being prepared accurately and efficiently
- Oversee all food preparation
- Maintain and hold team members accountable to the highest standard of food safety and cleanliness
- Complete daily setups - assigning team members to positions and ensuring break compliance
- Provides operational coaching to team members and holds team accountable to restaurant policies and core values
- Identify and solve any operational issues
- Ensure operational checklists are completed
- Be a friendly, encouraging team player
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Maintain a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.

- Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
