Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader's two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading opening and/or closing shifts, following procedures to correctly open and/or close the restaurant
• Oversee team members on shift to ensure the restaurant is meeting its goals and meals are being prepared accurately and efficiently
• Complete daily setups - assigning team members to positions and ensuring break compliance
• Provides operational coaching to team members and holds team accountable to restaurant policies and core values
• Ensure the workspace and dining room is consistently a clean & welcoming environment
• Identify and solve any operational issues
• Ensure operational checklists are completed
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Execute proper security and cash handling and control procedures and hold cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Maintain a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.

• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
