POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the General Manager, your top priority is fostering an environment where improvements to products, processes and service are welcomed/encouraged by the team. You will work closely with the AGM to set standards and expectations for the bar staff and management team to follow.
RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL
- Involvement, management and participation in PIns Mechanical Co. space build out and pre-launch activities.
- Establish relationships with proper vendors and distributors.
- Contribute to the achievement of margins at targeted levels.
- Facilitate Human Resources responsibilities including hiring, training, termination, reviews, scheduling, etc.
- Organize inventory procedures and ensure we are stocked appropriately with product at all times.
- Take responsibility for monitoring, reporting, and correcting all health and safety issues.
- Control profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions.
- Oversee the re-creation of drinks/cocktail menus that are new, inspiring, and on brand.
- Oversee Facility Management, including game and equipment maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES: MANAGING STAFF
- Foster a positive, productive, and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Conduct training to ensure the staff has strong POS and product knowledge and are able to up-sell.
- Monitor, review and provide feedback on individuals’ performances.
- Establish appropriate standards and procedures to hold staff at the highest customer experience levels.
- Set and review objectives in line with the performance review and on-boarding process.
- Work to develop team members according to their individual abilities and potential.
- Support colleagues at peak times and undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- Handle complaints; provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Act as a brand ambassador for 16-Bit and ensure values are upheld to both external and internal audiences.
- Provide professional and friendly guest services with a willingness to interact to meet their experience needs.
- Inspire and train team members to anticipate needs and provide outstanding guest service.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including, walking, standing, and/or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time.
- Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Ability to follow proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
- Must work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have the ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detail; must recognize and adjust to change.
- Ability to think quickly on their feet and be an independent decision maker while putting the business first.
- Must have the ability to teach, train, coach and manager team members in an effective manner.
