The Barkley Pet Resort is growing, and we're looking for a Pet Care Supervisor to join our team of passionate pet lovers. If you have at least one year of professional pet care experience and one year of supervisory experience, this might be the perfect role for you. We're seeking someone who is not only skilled in pet care but also has strong leadership abilities.
As a Pet Care Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations, including feeding, administering medication, sanitation, playgroups, bathing, basic first aid, and individual pet activities. You will also ensure all tasks are completed to our high standards and share relevant pet care information with clients. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a company that offers advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the pet care team during your shift.
- Oversee feeding, medication, sanitation, playgroups, bathing, and other pet care activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication with clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for our furry guests.
- Drive productivity and keep the team on track with assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of professional pet care experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
- Knowledge of basic dog body language and safe pet handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
• Move throughout the resort for extended periods of time (up to 6-8 hours per day).
• Being able to lift and move 40 lbs.
• Understand and respond to team members' and guests’ requests in a loud environment
• Bend, stoop, and reach in order to run and load dogs/cats, serve customers, and clean the resort
