Front-of-House Applicant Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must have at least 6 hours of availability on Friday and Saturday, ending no earlier than 2pm, unless an exemption is requested upon interview
- Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply
Team Members must be able to:
- Uphold Chick-fil-A and Chick-fil-A Grossmont’s Vision and Values.
- Lift up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis
- Work in high-paced environments
- Work on your feet for up to 3 hours before a break
- Work outside for up to 3 hours before a break
- Adhere to all safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines established by Chick-fil-A and local health authorities.
- Be dependable, punctual, and reliable; demonstrating commitment to scheduled shifts and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Front-of-House Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet guests with a friendly demeanor, engaging in polite and helpful interactions. Provide prompt and courteous service to ensure an outstanding experience.
- Order Taking: Accurately and efficiently take guest orders inside or via drive-thru, ensuring correct menu items, customization, and payment processing.
- Cash Handling: Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately, adhering to company cash handling procedures.
- Order Assembly: Bag or tray food orders with precision, ensuring correct items, condiments, and presentation standards are met. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and desserts, following approved procedures.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, drive-thru staging area, dining area, and condiment stations throughout the shift. Assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Dining Area Hospitality: Monitor and assist with dining area maintenance, including clearing and cleaning tables, refilling beverages, and addressing guest requests.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and promotions to provide accurate information and recommendations to guests.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members, including back-of-house staff, communicating effectively and supporting each other to ensure smooth operations. Take direction from supervisors and other leaders.
