We are currently seeking a Business Development Specialist in the St. Clair County and surrounding areas. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through closure. These initiatives will require a combination of cold outreach, email correspondence, field-based prospecting, and networking activities. The ideal candidate will develop and implement the agreed-upon Marketing Plan, aiming to achieve both personal and business goals by expanding the customer base in the designated market area. This position collaborates with our operations team to ensure customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and the attainment of long-term account objectives, all aligned with the company's vision and values.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all sales efforts, including estimating and negotiations.
- Conduct proactive cold outreach and in-person prospecting to identify potential customers.
- Formulate an action plan that delineates specific targets, enabling effective pursuit of new leads and referrals stemming from marketing initiatives.
- Establish and uphold organized prospect databases utilizing HubSpot CRM system.
- Participate in community and business engagements that enhance the sales program's effectiveness, such as involvement in Chamber of Commerce, and BNI.
- Provide management with weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team during, and after, the initiation of new accounts.
- Develop and curate economic and market intelligence records, analyzing data pertaining to key competitors.
- Fulfill any additional account management obligations as directed by the Owner.

Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Results driven and ability to work in a fast paced environment with a demonstrated ability to multitask with a sense of urgency.
- Proven ability in creating and maintaining relationships with teammates and clients is a must.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, confident, and organized.
