Responsibilities: - Greet pet parents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage pet parent inquiries - Verify pet parent and pet information, including veterinary/vaccination details - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping - Adhere to privacy standards and maintain pet parent confidentiality - Collaborate with all staff to ensure smooth daycare operations - Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting - Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs under care - Feed, walk, and provide water to dogs - Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management - Assist with administering medications (as needed) as directed by pet owners or veterinarians Experience: - Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred - Previous experience in administrative assistance and customer service is preferred - Proficiency in using office equipment including phone systems, printers, scanners, and computers. - Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Word, and Excel and other media platforms such as Canva and PowerPoint.
