Dogtopia is the fastest growing pet franchise in the Country! We are looking for a General Manager to oversee all operations of our Dogtopia location.
The General Manager is a key role at Dogtopia and is charged with exceeding client expectations, ensuring we maintain a great environment for the dogs in our care and meeting our client growth and retention targets strategy, managing people and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, as you help our company grow and thrive you will be rewarded with quarterly bonus compensation and additional opportunities in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations
- Set goals for growth
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Ensure we follow corporate policies and processes
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
- Direct the employee assessment process
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, etc.)
Skills
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, operations etc.)
- Strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Demonstrate leadership in outstanding customer service and team member development
- Set and accomplish monthly priorities, financial results and be able demonstrate regular improved team development.
- Ensure a professional sales focus for prospective clients, implements sales and marketing strategies.
