Host / Hostess Job Description:
We are on the hunt for a charismatic host to become a valued member of our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be the ambassador of Prelude Kitchen & Bar’s warm hospitality, stringent service standards, and overall excellent dining experience.
As our host, you'll welcome guests with an inviting demeanor, keeping them informed about their waiting time and efficiently managing our waiting list. You'll not just guide our guests to their tables, but also ensure they leave with fond memories and an eagerness to return.
In addition to this, you will adeptly manage a variety of tasks such as:
- Answering phone calls and managing takeout orders, ensuring the customer's preferences are meticulously noted
- Managing delivery orders via tablet, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch
- Diligently packaging takeout orders, maintaining our high standards even outside our doors
- Assisting with ancillary tasks, contributing to the smooth running of our restaurant

Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail sector, where you've honed your customer service skills.
