This role involves providing plumbing service and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Key Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing service calls, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial clients, while ensuring quality control standards are upheld throughout each service.
- Install, test, and maintain plumbing systems, including water heaters, pipes, and fixtures.
- Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and standards.
- Train apprentices and laborers to develop skills and maintain high standards of work.
- Communicate effectively with customers, offering clear explanations of work performed and maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with other trades for seamless project coordination and timely completion.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and on time.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
- Engage in ongoing training to maintain and enhance plumbing skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Oregon Journeyman Plumber License.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in plumbing service and maintenance for residential, commercial, or industrial systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities with various plumbing systems and tools.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safe work practices and safety regulations.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in diverse environments, including confined spaces and outdoors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with water heaters, boilers, or backflow prevention systems.
- Experience in commercial or industrial plumbing.
- Familiarity with state plumbing codes and OSHA standards.
- Experience with Service Titan is a plus.
