Essential Duties for MEP Design/Engineer:

• Heat loss/gain calculations
• Equipment selections
• Duct sizing and routing
• Pipe sizing and routing
• Mechanical Code compliance
• Energy Code compliance
• Assist with project management
• Assist with training of junior level designers
• Meet with clients and coordinate with our Division

Requirements for MEP Design/Engineer:

• PE in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)
• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledgeable of code requirements
• Good verbal skills to work well with a diverse workforce
• Knowledge of plumbing system design preferred
