As the brand ambassador, the Café Manager is responsible for driving profitability through the P&L, while developing a crew that serves customers with unparalleled hospitality. The ideal candidate must align with the culture and values of the brand while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

CAFÉ MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·     Monitors sales growth and cost control of the café against the budgeted expectation and historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.

·     Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.

·     Presents a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards.

·     Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials. Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.

·     Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

·     Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.

·     Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.

·     Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.

·     Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house.

·     Must have a proven track record of managing the cost of goods and labor.

·     Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.

·     Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·     Effective verbal and written communication skills.
