The Boiling Crab Sacramento is looking for a Restaurant Manager who is available to work at least 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends and other peak periods. This individual must have experience as a restaurant manager with operational know-how for both Back of the House (BOH) and Front of the House (FOH).
Environmental Exposure::
The BOH manager is exposed to heat, moisture, smoke and cleaning chemicals used in the restaurant.
The FOH manager engages in extensive verbal interaction with co-workers and is exposed to potentially frustrating situations.

• Managing the shift
• Scheduling FOH staff
• Service on the floor through working the floor during service time
• Interviewing, hiring, and training FOH employees
• Appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
• Help maintain a high level of cleanliness and repair (address) in the restaurant
• Reaching the service quality goals, meeting the company’s financial goals, address maintenance repairs, and personal development objectives
You should have::
- High School diploma mandatory, College or University Degree Preferred
- 3-4 years supervisory experience in either a food & beverage service environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility
- Basic business math and accounting skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Good oral/written communication skills (bi-lingual a plus)
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Strong computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Physical Actions::
The FOH manager will be required to engage in the physical action for up to an eight-hour shift.
The FOH manager will be required to lift up to fifty pounds. FOH manager works under extreme time pressures to complete orders. Considerable dexterity is required.
