Ashland Medical Receptionist - A First Choice Staffing Service

We are looking for a candidate with experience in medical reception and a passion for patient care. Greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain records and patient accounts. Collect copays and apply them to correct patient accounts. Answer calls professionally. Ensuring patients and/or messages are routed to the correct person/department. Call patients for reminder appointments or rescheduling. Medical office experience is preferred. Must have excellent computer and customer service skills. 30-40 hours a week, depending on how busy the clinic is.

$17-$-19 DOE

Duties:

• Checking in/out patients
• Must be professional
• Verifying patient information and insurance on the computer
• Scan into chart
• Collect co-pays
• Able to handle multiple tasks with constant interruptions
• Scan documents
• Phones
• Scheduling
• Other duties as assigned
• Good with problem-solving
• Great customer service and it is preferred to have medical front desk experience.
• Must be dedicated, dependable, and a team player.

Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical records
• Must be 18 to apply
• Must pass background check and drug screen
